I am part of the director team for a leading marketing agency based in Cardiff supporting clients all across South Wales and the wider UK. I come from a telecommunications and IT background where marketing has always played a part in my career to date. Much of our work involves the development of brands through creative design and use of associated marketing technologies such as websites and eCommerce systems helping organisations to operate in the online space and market their businesses in an increasingly online world. 

As a military veteran I have seen first-hand both the great and not so great support for veterans of all ages right across the world so working with ACM was a chance for me to influence this for them and the wider senior community. ACM is an organisation that is helping those that are at risk of loneliness, social isolation especially after the recent events of 2020. The organisation’s core values and passion to effective change to older people’s lives makes ACM a charity that I am privileged to be involved with. Their objectives really resonate with me as I move ever closer to the older age group as I reach the sunset of my working career and one day I may find myself isolated or in a position similar to many of the people the charity supports. 

As a Director with ACM’s trading board the constant challenge is to find ever more creative methods of raising funds to enable the Charity to continue its vital work in the community.

In my spare time, I'm usually found reading books on military history, volunteering at the South Wales Aviation Museum and more recently getting involved with the VC Gallery in Haverfordwest my adopted hometown that help service veterans and those in the wider community by getting them engaged in a variety of art projects, they passionately believe that art and culture can improve health, wellbeing, and overall quality of life.
