Bethan is our Head of Public Affairs and Partnerships. She has a First Class Honours degree in health and social care where she completed published research into the experiences of lesbian, gay and bisexual people in later life. Bethan has long worked in the third sector for organisations who give a voice to communities that are heard to reach, most recently for RSPCA Cymru, where she was also the secretariat and manager of the sector council in Wales for animal welfare.
Bethan lives with her family in Pontypridd, and her spare time is mainly spent trying to occupy a busy toddler. She’s a Christmas enthusiast who loves food (mainly crisps!) and a good crime drama on the TV.
Her favourite quote is: “Equality means more than passing laws. The struggle is really won in the hearts and minds of the community, where it really counts.”
