Welcome to The Info Street

The Info Street is the name of our popup information service. We travel to venues across Bridgend, Merthyr Tydfil, and Rhonda Cynon Taf to run information sessions for the over 50’s. This service allows us to reach us many people as possible, providing advice where it’s needed most.

What do you help with?

Our trained advisors can offer information and advice on a number of issues effecting older people.

  • Planning for the future - wills, pensions, and financial management
  • Aids and adaptations to help remain in your own home
  • Schemes to keep your home warm and energy efficient
  • Managing financial affairs and taxation
  • Housing and tenancy

Who runs The Info Street?

The Info Street service is run by Age Connects Morgannwg, we are a charity established in 1977 to support older people. Our work includes an information and advice service, help for those discharged from hospital, support for people experiencing loneliness and isolation, as well as numerous campaigns and advocacy programmes. We hold the Advice Quality standard and Trusted Charity Mark for complete peace of mind. 

Where will I find you?

The Info Street team pop up at community venues across Bridgend, Merthyr Tydfil, and Rhonda Cynon Taf. These include community hubs, libraries, and other public buildings.
