About Us

Age Connects Morgannwg is the leading charity working with older people living in Rhondda Cynon Taf, Bridgend and Merthyr Tydfil (the Cwm Taf Morgannwg Health Board footprint). We have a strong history with over 45 years of supporting older people and their families through some of the most difficult times in their life. We also have a proven track record of listening to older people, learning what’s important to them and caring about the way they are treated, perceived, and portrayed.   

About the Job

General Responsibilities:


  • Source and recruit volunteers through various techniques (databases, e-mail, social media etc.)
  • Match volunteers with people referred to the organisation within the community,  completing support plans and risk assessments
  • Communicate frequently with volunteers to ensure they are satisfied, supported and well-placed including support & supervision sessions for volunteers and service reviews for clients
  • Using our Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) keep detailed records of volunteers’ information and assignments..
  • Coordinate teams of volunteers for community fundraising opportunities and maintain relationships with community groups.
